Well, in Houston, it's 90 degrees (yes, on May 2). I see on Weather.com that it'll be 56 degrees in Belgium tomorrow. Being a hot-weather fan, I suspect I'll be a bit cold in the coming 3 years dealing with the weather in Belgium. However, all is not lost. Today I have to drink US brew (ok I don't have to, but I frequently do), and in the next couple of months, will be on the ground in Brussels, and will have unfettered access to hundreds of local beers!!! Yipee!
While I don't drink heavily, I do appreciate good beer, and cannot wait to enjoy Belgian expert brews rather than whatever I can pick up at Walmart on my way home from work. I also cannot wait to enjoy Belgian food and chocolate, both wonderful by any standard. Look out Europe, here come the Martins!
